erm... yup... transferring ownership is a bigger deal than changing hosts... you can't expect to change something that is legally binding via some two bob ISP!

Unless you did it before mid-May which is when Nominet introduced the charge! Trust me to miss the deadline by a couple of weeks!

I use www.easily.co.uk alot. Their system just works great and all nice and easy to get everything sorted. They are one of the more expensive ones though. www.123reg.co.uk are decent aswell, have a domain with them. They are one of the best value for money companies but not too keen on their interface. Never had a problem with either though.

you do when you try changing your registrar they are a pain in ass!

xReg are the best comany, you have FULL control over your domain name and they do not charge ANY release fee's etc... All the main domains are £8.88 per year as well! Use them all the time and i certainly recommend them to all my customers!
