Thanks for the info and PM is posted.

Ok just to put the records straight I crashed that post out with a smile on my face as I had seen this thread re Broadband Medic. My thoughts on the subject of this new tool from NTL its cool for novice users and has some helpful info that pops up from time to time, but what I saw of it when I tried the programme I was a little concerned when my firewall asked quite a few times if I would give it access to the internet (what was it doing?) I ran the programme and it emptied my cache folder and did a check on my modem with a nice bar graph. I can manage my email client, which is Outlook, and I can add new email accounts with all the settings should I loose them. I can also check my modem speed so I see no need to have this programme taking up system resources as I have a host of other progs to do that (NAV ) and I rather give it to the utility thatââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s in my signature below. The lady who answered the phone may just have been having one of those days and I canââ‚ ¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t believe she talks to people like that all the time. The advice to hit the remove me button is in my mind bad advise and should not have been given. I could have taken her advice, but two years ago thatââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s what I used to do †œHIT THE REMOVE MEâ₠¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ my spam went through the roof. We all have off days so no harm done.
