I see that Michael Ball is picking up the slack from Barton and Thatcher.

suppose that had fallen to a city player and they had scored.. he did the same at Everton and could have put us 3-0 down and he punched the ball to a Reading player too.. if we had lost that game too where would we be in the title chase
that's what VDS does and that's why he isn't good enough for us.. he gets away with these things but he's not exactly going to improve on those things as he gets older

Yes, funny that, it's almost as though it's instilled into them by "Psycho"

No it means we're in squeeky bum time, so all mistakes need to be kept in check

I think that you need some perspective
He had just saved a penalty, which if he hadn't, it would have made it so much harder to win the title, yet you moan about the way he came for the loose ball. If I remember rightly, he did punch it clear and didn't land at the feet of a city player. You could suppose anything...suppose Ronaldo row z'd the penalty. Nil - Nil. What if eh?
I'm sure that I saw Rooney row z'd a shot. That could have cost us the title...lets get rid of him.

Sherer, VDS is probably the best keeper since Schmeichel and he had his faults, but anyway...
Only one more point needed to clinch the title, or a draw would do tomorrow at the Arsenal V Chelsea game.
It is a pity that after all the goings on in the Serie A that AC Milan were allowed to continue in the Champions League competition, however that is a poor excuse for a poor United display last Wednesday, AC Milan are a quality side.
Predictions for the end of this season.
Premiership - Man Utd (although it is still possible to lose)
Champions League - AC Milan (As long as they don't make the same mistake twice)
FA Cup - Chelsea ( Only because of all the cheating that goes on in that team, Drogba and Ashley Cole spring to mind)
Your thoughts ?

Manchester United and Everton could face a Premier League inquiry - with the possibility of a points deduction - into their deal for goalkeeper Tim Howard not to play in last week's league game between the two teams

Maybe it's over already....

Sounds like rubbish anyway. The article says the deal was done in Feb. As the transfer window was closed then it wouldn't take effect until it reopened. Plus its in the NOTW.

Err, we stopped Nicky Southall from playing against us after we F/Ted him (u/c) to Gillingham. Same when we bought Chambers from Northampton, he wasn't allowed to play for us against them.

Thought as much...

Premier League drops Howard probe
The Premier League has confirmed that it is satisfied neither Manchester United nor Everton broke any rules over the transfer of goalkeeper Tim Howard.
There were reports United had insisted upon Howard's absence in April's match against Everton - which they won 4-2 - as part of their deal with the Toffees.
But in a statement the Premier League said neither club had done wrong.
"It remains the case that there were no agreements that breached any of our rules," the statement said.
