Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 6.
I think VM offer pretty reasonable collections at a reasonable price and are in comparison to Sky on most of the basic bundles. The big difference comes if you have the Sky Premiums as with Sky they'll cost you £30 a month (+ £5.25 for HD) whereas VM have to charge £34.25 (plus £7.00 for HD) so a £4.25 (or £6.00 with HD) difference.

Price rise was going to come anyway and we've got a heck of a lot more than we had at the end of last year.....

That has to be the most incredible, almost unbelievable offer - BB, TV and landline for a year for the cost of landline!

This would be my opinion too

I see more bitterness on here with people wanting to "avoid speculation" threads. How cute. We must tell them about mbs change log thread.
Oh. Everyone already knows? Oh
I want VM to pull something huge off in the next few weeks. This year has been amazing and like a greedy fool I want more. I'm addicted

What i find Vince is this, there are loads and loads of channels on VM and Sky, most of which imo are total tosh, there are, granted, some really good channels from both companies, but a lot of people on here just seem to want more and more, i ask this question, where the heck do you guys get the time to watch all this TV?

I agree with you,I generally only watch from a selection of about 12-15 channels and there are more than half of the rest that show complete rubbish. If you were able to chose only the channels you watched you should be able to save each month, the only problem is these channels have to be bought in as part of the deal

I'd agree with you in principle as I only watch a few. But the channels are there for a reason. We may not want it. Others will otherwise it wouldn't be here. I personally like those channels. I was drunk the other night and ended up watching the French news channel for a few hours. Admittedly not their target audience but hey ho it was fun.

Sony movies has appeared on my list as possible launch on VM.
MGMHD is to launch first quarter of 2014 not last week as i originally posted.

There seem to be only two things that people on here really want and there are good reasons for them:
Sky Atlantic, because for those who like critically acclaimed US drama, that's a massive source, which VM are lacking
HD channels, for the obvious reason that the picture looks much better, and excluding the ITV channels, you get 5.1 audio.
People don't want "more and more", they want the quality in content and PQ that is currently lacking in some areas via VM.
