Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. I.
I don't believe that Sky have any intention of letting any other provider carry Atlantic while it's a free channel on their platform. You'll note that it's also unavailable to BT Vision and TalkTalk customers. I think that they've probably priced it artificially high so that they can say "well, we've offered it to other providers but they're not interested". Once it moves into the Variety Pack later this year I'm sure the situation will change.

Agree and disagree there are also some excellent US shows it's finding a nice mix , the problem I've found with US dramas is they don't know when to end a show , look at Prison break a great show but should have ended after 2 seasons. The wife loves her fix of Desperate Housewives and Greys Anatomy.

OH No!!! I forgot we have TiVo which is the future not the past, and again it will have 3 tuners so unlike a SKY HD box plus free technician visits for the whole term of your contract without even having to argue with the CSR, plus a real VOD system which is the best par none in all polls.

Sadly for you virgin apostles they have given up on tv and are no threat to sky whatsoever. Virgin as a progressive viable tv provider are finished.

That's pretty much what convinced me to stay with cable.

You can be one of the few who loves SKY Plankton Atlantic as even their customers are unimpressed.

Can i just ask why VM are history? Could it just be because dandelion and burdock has got the green light to take over SKY?

While I do believe Virgin need to add more HD channels , it's a bit strong to say there's no channels to record when in fact XL has around 160 channels and hours and hours of on demand and catch up.

I agree that elements of VM's VOD are excellent. No doubt about that.
But playing devils advocate surely only VM customers can vote on how good it is in polls, what polls do you refer to by the way?
