Re: Firmware R37

well just done one more with modem mode still the same

i also run this web for testing and at network got this results with my draytek on
http://netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/
Is recommented by many for looking if the modem buffers
Quote:
Network Access Link Properties + –
Network latency measurements (?): Latency: 94ms Loss: 0.0% +
TCP connection setup latency (?): 93ms +
Network background health measurement (?): no transient outages +
Network bandwidth (?): Note –
None of the bandwidth measurement packets sent between the server and client arrived at the client, which prevented us from measuring the available bandwidth. One possible reason for this is dynamic filtering by access gateway devices. Another possibility is simply a transient error.
Network buffer measurements (?): Uplink is good, Downlink is good

Re: Firmware R37

I can't see that you have a latency issue. The natalyzr pings outside the UK (AFAIK) so latency will be higher; or am I mistaken?

The best test for jitter and speed is Jack Dinn's downloadable JDAST - it runs on your PC. It's multi-threaded and provides on screen graphs as well as CSV stored data.

They run off Amazon's cloud servers, and sometimes run from the UK but are usually US based

Re: Firmware R37

Just rebooted my SH, but no R37 yet.

Will installation be affected by the fact that I am in modem only mode?

Re: Firmware R37

I think you'll find our packages will not be released until Wednesday the 12th of December! I do hope it fixes my VoIP problems, it's cr*p at the moment almost unusable, it keeps stopping my Fritzbox from registering any of my VoIP lines! I have to keep re starting my VoIP adapter!!! I also can't
access the NOT so Superhub remotely either and although I've got my VoIP adapter in DMZ I can't see it from the web!!

When my SH updated to v37, it was after midnight on that day last month. I was watching TV via Tivo when it glitched. No idea if my internet glitched but it rang a bell. I checked the SH - RH. Rebooted the SH - R37.

According to the VN Forum team all broadband tiers will receive by the 14th December. You will need to reboot in order to receive.
