thanks for the link I have been and still am looking for a satellite service but one that is independant of a telephone line, ( for my static caravan on the coast )still looking for something for early next year if poss ???

It's a wonder that Sky haven't launched something similar by now.

They already compete favourably with NTL for telephone calls. Sky talk through a BT line is cheaper than NTL although there are other providers via BT which are cheaper.

When will NTL wake up to the fact that they are falling behind in what they offer and the prices that they charge?

there was a rumour that sky were going to do this a while ago but it never happened
