Well said i wouldnt ring them but i did....and am i glad i did
June 26th i cancelled my connections with all 3 services, and was told that they would be cancelled after the 30 day period on July 26th(silly me belived them as well) then i get a bill, which took me 2 weeks past me disconnection date...and speak to billing explain what i will pay, they agree, and i write a letter explaining this with a couple of cheques and everything is sorted - -
NOT!!!
Today i then recieve a letter from the "Londons Collection Department" stating
I OWE THEM £27.04! !!!! - think not
I was so miffed that i did eventually ring them, and on my what did i uncover....spoke to billing, nothing we can do, put through to credit control....we cant access your file..sent me somewhere else....15mins gone by now
Got speaking to one guy and he says that your services aren't cancelled

...his words " there is a not stating you requested it, but nothing has been done" shock/horror. So after a few heated....very heated words, and being told that there was nothing he could do, and that "I" needed to ring up and sort it - now that really ****ed me off...and told him i cant as i do work for a living even though i seem to spending a chunk of it ringing NTL, i have now got to write them a letter, and that until it is cancelled i shall still be getting billed - they are having a joke
And to have a laugh, he said that it his NTL's fault and they would credited anything they owed me....funny that, but i aint paying another cent to them so they wont be able to credit anything, as they have to be the most usless set of customer serivce people that i have ever had to deal with.
So now its time to sit down and put another letter together explaing everything and who i have spoke to....the saga no doubt will carry on
