new cable modem and linksys router

Hi everyone,
I got a new ntl250 modem today and everything deems to be working ok with my linksys befw11s4 router but i cannot get to the setup screen via 192.168.1.1 using iexplore. the wireless connection works fine but I can't change any setings. I have rebooted everything a number of times.
any suggestions ? am i going to have to reset the router? bit wary of this in case it bombs out completely

thanks in advance

mant

*edit* just started working - panic over ;0)

Re: new cable modem and linksys router

Try connecting on https

https://192.168.1.1

If that fails, you may have to reset your router via the reset button.
