TV off in Welwyn Garden City
just lost tv picture in WGC - holding for CS been told 1/2 hour wait  anyone else having problems

Out in Cheshunt as well, lucky you got through to CS, I've been trying various different numbers and none of them are even connecting

The headend contains all the equipment required to distribute the signals to the area served by it.
I'd be extremely surprised if the entire headend is down, they will have a UPS. However if something within an essential rack fails and takes out the breaker feeding its electricity then these outages happen. I'd guess either the ATM switch is down or its the rack containing the equipment which distributes to the hub sites.
