NTL BB down today at 11am In np44 area

NTL BB down today at 11am i spent 30min on the phone to technical support and the said it was my pc but i said it was not after on hold for 5 min then the tech lady who was very good in India said you right there is a network fault do to a server hack, but all is ok now

Oh goody, that makes me feel better - it's not contention or network overload, just some spotty oik frakking around.

Not sure if I believe this - I would have thought most Telcos would have reasonable to to v.good firewalls, IDS, etc.
