don't put up with bad service
Phone the cancellation dept tell them sky are offering the same service at a lower price (penlty of mail shot leaflets around with details you can quote) complain about internet service outage aswell. I've gone from a standing charge of £50.40 for phone, family pack and a 1mb connection with the cost of the phone calls on top to free calls to my local area after 6pm and all weekend and an upgrade to 4mb broadband all for the cost of £34 a month . According to the nice lady at the other end of the phone the greater the services you have the bigger the discount so more is cheaper than less. oh by the way the phone call is free aswell 0800 052 2000 WHAT THE WORSE THAT CAN HAPPEN????

well, if you have "bad services" you are still left with "bad services", only cheaper. if you think that's acceptable then don't complain when something goes wrong next time.

But the point is no matter what they charge you per month, it doesn't improve the service!

Re: don't put up with bad service
I was gonna post, but Russ and Nemesis01 have said everything I planned to. If you get bad service, then whether you pay £50 a month or 50p a month, you are still getting bad service.

Re: don't put up with bad service
yes everyone go and get ntl to give discounts giving them even less money to work with, that will surely allow them to improve the service!
