Internet Explorer Pop Up Blocker

Hello all

All of a sudden my IE(6) has started blocking pop ups from trusted sites. I have reset the security on my trusted sites to allow pop ups etc......

It also blocks pop up's even when i turn the pop up blocker off.

Any ideas? - please don't suggest firefox etc as this particular site only works with IE.... in fact its the only site i use IE for...

getting fed up using the CTRL key all the time

Re: Internet Explorer Pop Up Blocker

Have you installed today's IE security update? That could have changed the behaviour!

get firefox WITH the IE Tab extension (link) so you can view pages using IE's rendering extension, thats my advice

Re: Internet Explorer Pop Up Blocker

yep , update installed. Balls.

'spose i'll have to live with it until they release an update that fixes it.... i'm reluctant to uninstall the update as it seems to have fixed 'other' issues too....

Re: Internet Explorer Pop Up Blocker

Turn the pop up blocker off, tools > pop up blockers > on or off.

Re: Internet Explorer Pop Up Blocker

I know that you have used IE tab now, but the pop-up blocker on the Google Toolbar used to be pretty good. Disable the in-built one and use that...
