Could you ask about ntl 120 and 100 modems and if they will get update by the end of June as well please because the word near future sounded quite far away to me?

It is a very good 2mb connection so i suppose i can't complain really,

I am on merseyside so, how do i tell which area my computer is connected to?
Sorry for the noob question.

They don't, but an awful lot of customers seem to have terrible problems just understanding what they're saying with their indian accents. What's the point in confusing the customer even more with foreign first names? I think it's just a move to make things a little easier for the customer.

Re: New Speeds - June 1st

Are there any Belfast/Swansea or Ashford broadband people using set top boxes on 4mb yet or are they all using cable modems? If anyone reading this tells us they are on a STB we will all know for sure that they are getting it in line with modem users. But, until then we are all depending on you Mick (no pressure) Lol

ntl have Responded back to my query:-

ntl state:

"We are continuing to complete our broadband speed increases for customers. We are planning to uplift customer with STBs over the coming weeks and will advise customers of the impending changes. We will automatically upgrade customers with a Samsung STB and will advise customers with a Pace STB of the process to swap equipment."
