Lucky you! =[. I'm in the cariff area too. However i'm still on 2mb cos i have crappy ntl 120 modem  . No config upgrade for that yet.

Will this 2mb to 4mb be for everyone? And is it a free upgrade? (E.g I don't have to pay any more and they'll magically upgrade it without me doing anything)

So this is why the NTL site states that I am now on the 4Mb service, but still can only download at 2Mb?

put simply - yes
nationally the billing system doesn't admit to a 2 meg tier, anymore, but locally we wait for the techs to tweak the hardware

If you have 100, 120 ntl modem and are in cardiff or belfast around that area. Then yes.
