Unhappy Poor quality picture

I have just had my sky box replaced by telewest cable system. The sky was transmitted around the house using a system of powered amplifiers and worked perfectly ok on 3 extra TV's in the bedrooms. The telewest box was a straight swap and the amplifier system was not touched. The technician stated that if I tuned the the othe TV's into channel 52 the system would work. He then left. The picture quality on the bedroom TV's is unwatchable due to a weak signal. Is there any way of improving the signal coming from the Telewest box to the amplifiers system. Telewest say the boxes are not designed for this but I think they are just trying to get me to rent another box.

Re: Poor quality picture

You cant improve or raise the signal from the digi box.
How has the the cable box wired from the Tvoutlet on the back of the digi box to your tv and to the other outlets.

Re: Poor quality picture

You can make the picture better

I had exact same problem, I googled for an engineers code which I found within minutes

Once you get into engineers menu change the attenuation it made a massive difference for me

Good luck
