Adsl router problems with msn

Hi, as stated, im on a 512mb AOL adsl connection, and since buying a router, ive been having problems accessing msn messenger, whenever i try to sign in it comes up with errors, but as soon as i switch back to my old adsl modem, everything works, and this happens with other things, such as battlefield, where no servers come up in multiplayer,

ive tried portforwarding but still no luck, ive added a few pic below to see if you guys can see anything wrong,

thanks for you time

Does the router support UPnP ? If so, you need to enable it.

Re: Adsl router problems with msn

Can you put your pc in the DMZ zone and see if it works then ?

BTW If you do, it's best if you also have a software firewall running.

Re: Adsl router problems with msn

You may as well disable DMZ then.

Maybe someone else will be along sooner with another suggestion, so stick around.

BTW It might be prudent to edit part of your screenshots, so as not to advertise any personal data.

Re: Adsl router problems with msn

Its odd that your dns servers dont show the address of the router. I use the router as my primary dns address and a bt one as my 2nd.

If you cant get it working when your in a dmz then I'm a bit lost as to how it will work otherwise. I had a spare adsl wireless router but I put it on ebay 30 mins ago. lol
