No End No Start

Hi all,

Broadband was fine until the day i moved house. A date was set late on Dec for installation in new house but after repeated calls only got connected in middle of Jan.Worked fine for a week and suddenly no signal. An Engineer came with some kindda handheld machine and confirmed no signal inside the house.Next appointment was set after a week. All day waited and after dark when by heart i knew nobody's coming, I called NTL and to my surprise they informed me that an engineer been to my house. You know the drill...again another sets of repeated calls and some interesting answers on each call:
1) Failed Direct debit setup
2) Phone not registered in my name
3) Property not in NTL area

Well I requested for a new line. An Engineer came, checked signals but he too failed to get connections."Sorry mate, another engineer will come".But by this time I've learned to live without internet(not completely :-)) and didn't bother to call.

Now just waiting for Phone contract to end which is in October but it seems like there's no End,though CS and quality,i think is very good but i never got Started.Well it was a good practice for speaking english......

Re: No End No Start

I'm not sure from the above whether you are now happy with the status quo (no broadband) or whether you are unhappy.

You say you've got used to it, but are you going to make that call and find out what is wrong.

Are the DD, phone registration issues resolved now?
