Yup and autocad are cheap and cheerfull cad and on its way out. It's all about integrated 3d cad these days.

One of the more heavily used 3d cad software is Dassault systems' catia starts at $16,500 with lots of addons avaliable

They now offer fluent for catia v5 which allows for integrated cfd work. Which will set you back $18k - $24k depending on version of solver

Or if you are in full time education, and your Uni, college or school are MSDN Acdemic alliance members, you can get MS development and server software for free. This includes all Windows version (apart from Media Centre), visual studio, Access (but not other Office programs) and other things.
