Ntl Reinstalled My Internet And Now I Can't Connect Wirelesly?

NTL came round yesterday and moved the cable for my internet to a different room and I cannot connect wirelessly to the internet anymore.
I've had the Netgear MR814v2 wireless router for over 2 years now and it's suddenly just stopped working wirelesly.

When they left I setup the modem and router and can connect to the internet with a wired connection. I can' connect wirelesly though?

I've got two Netgear ME101 Ethernet Bridges and neither on is working on both my computer or Xbox. When I turn a device on connected to an ME101, the ME101's POWER light and WIRELSS light come on but NETWORK light stays off, the same happens when connected to the Xbox and the Xbox says that there are no cables connected?

I don't think the movig the modem caused any problems and I'm always unpluging and moving the router and bridges so why now?

Any help, ideas, suggestions would be much appriciated.
I've tried the reset button and powering down etc, I've updated the firmware and checked the region and different channels(whenever i change the channel on the router the wireless light flashes for a second then returns to normal, so I think they must be connected to one another.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Maybe your WEP settings have not been updated after the reinstall?

If you've got to the stage of using the reset button, you'll probably have wiped all the specific settings you had for wireless channel, security etc. Make sure the connecting wireless stuff also has those settings removed.

If something odd is happening, start by configuring the system without any security and stuff. You can add that later once you have basic connectivity established. The only thing worht playing with is the channel, as that can conflict with other stuff in the house. If your router has been moved, as the modem moved, make sure it isn't somewhere where the wireless can't get out or be seen by other appliances - higher is better and away from electromagnetic radiation sources.

Re: Ntl Reinstalled My Internet And Now I Can't Connect Wirelesly?

Thanks, there's no security settings in place and there's no interference from other sources, I've only ever had to use default settings on it and it's always worked, all I had to ever do was update the firmware when i first bought it over 2 years ago.

It's strange because when the router is off and the one of the bridges is on, the bridge flashes the WIRELESS light, so I guess it knows the routers not there. I'm really confused because they can obviously detect each other but can't connect?
