Using a ASDL Router as a Dial-Up Modem

I know it says ASDL wireless router but could you use this as a dial up modem instead?

Nope!

ADSL and analogue modem use very different technologies / frequencies. Same goes for ISDN and cable.

You can't use the modem/router as a plain old router. If you want to share a dial-up connection wirelessly, you need to get a stand-alone wireless router. I'm not sure which model you would need that would have the appropriate connections to plug a dial-up modem into it though.

AFAIK, you need a PC as a gateway, connected to the internet, then the router connected to the PC - with the PC's IP set as the gateway.
