Re: Battlestar Galactica - Series 2 (Sky One, No Spoilers)

Two threads for one programme is not a very sensible idea IMO - people will simply get confused and end up wondering which thread to use depending on what they want to post. Trying to keep up with two threads on the same subject makes no sense at all - esp as they will have different information in them.

Excessive use of spoilers is to be avoided, but the occasional spoiler snippet does not harm anyone.

Oh can't wait the cliffhanger was so good at the end of last season that you just don't know if everyone will make it Through the first Ep alive.

Wonder if sky will do e4's trick of haveing a ad break right after the opening Titles.

Re: Battlestar Galactica - Series 2 (Sky One)

Watched the Final Season 2 episode over the weekend - fantastic. Overall there have only been a couple of duff episodes, a good season all round and looking forward to Season 3.

Spoiler:
In the final episode (which is an hour and a half) a 7th Cylon Model is revealed - and they jump forward a year for the final 25 minutes.

Re: Battlestar Galactica - Series 2 (Sky One)

I've only watched what has been broadcast, but I'm loving every minute of it. Introducing the Battlestar Pegasus this week was brilliant, and a nice tip of the hat at the original series.

Somewhat spoiled by the fact that she, along with most of her crew, is a dangerously unhinged psychopath.

It's interesting to see how this crew has been differently affected by the Cylon genocide compared to Galactica and the refugees. They have become dehumanised rapists and killers, thanks to months of believing that they are the last of the human race and in imminent danger of extinction - all niceties and taboos therefore discarded.

It's not just E4 - Channel 4 have started doing that with ER. Bloody annoying...but in the States, I gather it's standard practice. I wouldn't be surprised if Sky and ITV start doing it too...if they haven't already. Not having a TV myself, I wouldn't know - the few things I watch are recorded for me by my parents, and I either watch 'em when I visit at weekends, or borrow the DVD and watch 'em at home. Sorted. Who needs a TV?
