DVD not playing on PC ?
Hi all
This is a problem I do not normally have............normally DVDs play fine on my PC and then not on my DVD player. However this time it is the other way around, I have a DVD which plays fine on my DVD player but when I try and play it on my PC it starts OK but if I then fast forward or rewind it then only plays at about half speed. The player on my PC is Ulead DVD palyer.
Any ideas why this is and how to correct it ???
Thanks
Mike

Re: DVD not playing on PC ?
My dad has this on his PC, but the DVD drive doesn't accept any DVDs/ data dvds.
Does the drive accept data dvds

it is most likely a 'codec or something' issue, if it only effects one disc, so far, then ignore it, for now, (imo), but if it happens again ....

Does your dad's accept any disks and is it listed and working in Device Manager and My Computer?
If this is potentially what I suspect, I may have the fix
