Not sure, but according to the datasheet on the WRT54GC it should be compatible with the 10Mbps service:
Quote:
Internet: One 10/100 RJ-45 Port
LAN: Four 10/100 RJ-45 Switched Ports
|
Personally as the price difference between the 2 models seems to be negligible (unless someone can show otherwise) I'd rather go for the chunky blue and black WRT54G, but that's just me

Re: [Merged] Routers and 10Mb
Ditched my old Linksys router for a nice shiney new Linksys router.
WRT54GS v1.1
Getting 1240k/sec from my news provider as I type. Cost me about 50 quid from amazon does that new fangled wireless thing too.....
Added bonus if you are a tweaker, there are lots of 3rd party firmwares with LOADS of added features for this series of routers.

Re: [Merged] Routers and 10Mb
Routers work with any OS, as long as the OS can deal with a network. Any configuration of them is done using standard tools (web interface or telnet).

Re: [Merged] Routers and 10Mb
My old Benq did not work.....the max speed was ~500KB/sec
I just bought Belkin 7230-4UK Model 4000 and the speed is stable at ~1200KB/sec...My XBOX is also on the same router...
My question is this: I paid 44 pounds for this model and i can get Linksys 54GS for 49 only....so please i need your advice??? Shall I exchange it or keep the Belkin???
thnx
The other Belkin 7231-4 with max speed 125Mbit is also available at 49!!!
