Telewest goes live with HDTV
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/12...ive_with_hdtv/
Telewest has become the first British company to deliver a live HDTV (High Definition TV service) service. Starting from today it is offering a limited High Definition service to a select group of 400 viewers in south London. The service will be rolled out across the Telewest franchise early next year. Telewest hasnâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t put a date on when it will available nationwide but it is likely to be before the summer.

Re: PVR for NTL
Not all Telewest customers have VoD. ntl in fact has more VoD-enabled customers than Telewest. The Telewest PVR (with HDTV output) has been released to 400 triallists in London, with a more widespread rollout in Q1 2006.

In the meantime, NTL aren't even talking about which year they will launch a PVR in..

OK. They have announced a year. However both Telewest and Sky have announced trials.

That's great. Now could you tell me when I'm going to get it?
It you live in a Telewest area, they're more than willing to give you a projected four-week window. Why can't NTL do the same?
Why haven't there been any Bromley areas done yet?
And who has rolled out more, as a percentage of their network? Who is likely to finish first?

How you can complain or pull anyone about your quotes is beyond me.
There should be a disclaimer by your quotes that says.
Any posts by me Garyparson might could or has been edited to my liking. I might have changed your post to make you look like a lier. therefor i could also be lying. Therefor my quotes should be taken with a pinch of salt ?
For evidence please look HERE
Sorry but any quote you make i take with a pinch of salt as i can never be sure you are not lieing
