But do you know the name of the firmware or any other identification so I know it's been upgraded.

Re: *ALL* ntl 10MB Discussion (Part 3)
It should the downloaded the new configuration file named
ntlhm120_ntl0002.cpr
to your modem therefore reconfiguring it to run at 10Mb when NTL update everyone to that speed as before this update the ntl:120 modem were incapable of running at 10Mb
The modem should have rebooted automatically after the new firmware was installed or if you want to be sure you could manually reboot it yourself

Re: *ALL* ntl 10MB Discussion (Part 3)
anybody on 3meg and using 120home modem and got the new firmware yet or is it only sent to 10meg users, i.e was it a national automatic rollout to ALL 120 cable modem, cause not got it here
it should be:
ntlhm120_ntl0002.cpr
mine is still
ntlhm120_ntl0001.cpr

Re: *ALL* ntl 10MB Discussion (Part 3)
check the config page on http://192.168.100.1/ username - root pw - root
and look for this
Software Upgrade File Name : ntlhm120_ntl0002.cpr
if you see this your modem has been updated if not try rebooting it and then check again
it should have been done automatically

very impressive that this has been done without chucking the old modems in the bin.

No auto-reboot but a manual reboot downloaded the new firmware. Getting full 10meg speeds now.

You don't need any upgrade with that modem, it's already capable of 10mb
