after upgraded from 1mb - 4mb i've been having this ping problem while i was playing games online my ping 100-250? I've called the tech suport and say to do a spyware scan.. done that and still have the same problem.

Could it be the network contention around my area...? please help.

What time of day are you seeing your ping go bad? Also can you tell us what operating system you are running, what broadband modem/ stb you are using and wether you have run more than 1 spyware/ anti-virus tool?
Also what software do you have running from startup?
Does the ping suddenly spike during a game or is it a constant high ping?
