Belkin Wireless Router Setup

Hi,

I got myself a Belkin Wireless G Router from a friend and have some questions about setting it up with my NTL modem.

1. I take it my connection is not PPPoE ?
2. Also I take it the IP address is Dynamic ?

Regards,
Garry

Re: Belkin Wireless Router Setup

Hi,

I have 2 more questions

3. It say if your ISP give you a hostname to enter it into the hostname field, does NTL provide a hostname or should I leave it blank ?

4. Also it say plug in the modem wait 10 seconds then plug router in, should I wait for the rdy and sync to be fixed before plugging in the router ?

Thank you for your time

Regards,
Garry
