Re: 10 meg - Modem, Location & Speed you're getting

Belfast:
Modem: Ambit 120
Down: 2.7mb
Up: 512k

Got 10mb by phoning CS, processed with no problems and the people on the phones were great, they knew all about it and told me to phone back if i had any problems.

Was running through USB on an Ambit 120, getting just less than 3mb.
Switched over to Ethernet today, still just under 3mb speeds. But i don't really know a lot about ethernet, and if i can change settings etc, so that might just be my ignorance causing the slower speed.

But seeing as NI wasn't on the recent maintenence pages, i'm guessing we might not have had our network upgrades yet, and so i'll put the speed down to that, and possibly network congestion.
