Or would we rather they upgrade everyone in one big go and have the cables explode spontaneously?

Nah, they love it - they'd much rather have a bunch of ****ers and freeloading moaners on the end of the line than a customer with a genuine CS issue.

Re: *All* ntl 10meg Discussion (part 2)
LOL. And as if by magic, the ntl employee's come steaming in for a stand of solidarity.
Has anyone on 3mb been able to upgrade at all? Personally i think it's probably an easier process to move the 1mb and 2mb customers up to the new 10mb speed, and over the next few days we'll see them impliment the facility for 3mb users, but the automatic upgrade (which isn't today) will be for 3mb users first, like they said.
It's a bit of an annoyance when you get excited about something, regardless of you can make use of the new speeds or not, then don't get it, and see other people getting it ahead of you, even when they pay less for their service.
Bit of slack is needed on both sides of the argument.

Not really, just a personal disbelief that someone can call a ltd company a f**king c**t because they didn't get a free speed upgrade at the stroke of midnight. Bit of a joke really, don't you think? I do anyway...

i think the main gripe is the fact that 1 & 2 meg customers are getting the upgrade (at least some are) where as 3 meg customers aren't getting it yet. And as we all know, it was meant to be 3 meg first. It's all a bit odd.

That mate is exactly what i am doing when i get home from work. I will call, ask for it, and if i don't get it will be asked to be put on the bottom service. People can protect NTL on this one but they are wrong. I don't feel like i am being ripped off, but in my opinion it is wrong and i think it is morraly wrong to not ENSURE that existing 3meg customers got it first. So therefore i will hit them with the only way i can and that is with my wallet.

Sure, but is there any need to chuck ones toys out of the pram and use such profanity over it though?

Maybe it ws just an emotional outburst, like your own post.
It shouldn't be your concern anyway, it's only a company, don't feel so defensive over them, certainly not to the point where you might get yourself banned for using the same style of sweeping insults yourself.
