I doubt it very much. Is there a 3.5mm jack socket on the back of the Jerrold labelled G-Link(TM)?
G-Link is a trademark of http://www.gemstartvguide.com/

Not at home at the moment to check, but the box is a few years old so I don't think it has - just thought I'd check!
What about scart socket? Ir does it just have RF in and out?

Some pix of front and back here:

Looks like you've got RF out on an F-type and composite video and mono audio on phonos. Best to use the composite video methinks.

I think the phonos are audio L+R.
How can I get NTL to upgrade the box to one with at least a SCART socket?
Thanks

Could it be one of these?

I very much doubt that is possible for analogue TV. Scarts are a European invention - well French actually (so blame them) - and the Americans have not taken them on board. So all stuff (like analogue cable boxes) that originate from that market do not have them.
Looks like it's digital or digital I'm afraid.

You'd need to go to digital to get a box with a scart socket.

Thought that might be the answer!
Anybody know how much the upgrade will be?
We have 2 analog cable boxes, telephone and internet package in one.

Re: Jerrold 550 Analog Cable Box /Glink
I believe there's no charge to upgrade analogue -> digital, but don't quote me on that. However, your monthly payment will change. The analogue packs are discounted because of the restricted channel range.
You will be eligible for a Value Pack discount though, if you take one of the talk plans. Call Sales on 0800 183 1234 and ask about Value Packs and upgrading to digital - they'll be able to give you more information.
