New Billing and unable to cancel

Letter arrived + Bill for one month + one month in advance, final straw type of thing and rang up when i finished work. I wanted to fully cancel my services but here in lies the problem - the cancellation dept closes @ 5pm - I dont get home from work till after 5pm and no - they do not open on staurday. I am guessing I have 2 options :

1. Write a letter telling them i wish to cancel
2. Let the bill go past the date (i do not pay by D.D.) and then get cut off.

(3rd option - try and call from work but could be on the phone past the 30 mins I get for a break..hmm)

Any ideas?

Re: New Billing and unable to cancel

Sending a letter may be your best bet. But do it recorded delivery so they can't deny getting it. After all the systems are setup for phone contact.

Don't just let the bill go past the date. Ntl will consider that an unpaid bill, and eventually come after you for the money with debt collectors etc.
