"The Consumer Credit Act applies to our residential contracts because we hire equipment (STBs and cable modems) to customers. This makes them "regulated hire agreements".
What is your comment on that?

What is cheaper for Ntl? Dragging you through the courts to get a minimum payment off for the rest of the year off you or disconnection?
Anything posted on here without proof of where it came from is suspect. If I knocked something up in Word stating that Tony Blair eats children and posted it would you believe that too?
Again what is cheaper for Ntl?
To be perfectly honest I'm sure they were glad to see the back of you if this is the way you acting in your dealings with them.

And NTL are out of the woods in the manner that they deal with people? wake up man! they treat people like excrement on the heel of their foot.
By the way, the source who gave me the info I trust more than any of some toe rags that will tell you the sky is green when its blue!

Good for you. But until you can provide the source of the info on here, I wouldn't give it a second glance. What is your problem with naming your source?

But when somebody I know has issues with NTL i will give them a copy of the info and advise them to have a talk to trading standards or the cab.
Not telling you or anyone the source does not mean a thing.

The word " witch hunt " strike any bells?
But you obviously do not believe it so it doesnt matter, your opinion is so dogged anyway.

Yes - your witch hunt with ntl for starters. Are you a frustrated law student or something?
How do you know what my opinion on anything is?

Of course it means something. Just because your 'source' is somebody you trust doesn't mean anything - for all we know, this person is an ex-employee of ntl with an axe to grind. Blindly stating facts without factual back-up is pointless.

Not a witch hunt with NTL on my behalf, but I do know how companies react if they think there has been an internal leak somewhere.
Just dont get too personal [ADMIN EDIT - SIMON M] Don't start with the insults, or you will be dealt with more harshly.

Have you seen the info I posted Nugget?
Carry on guessing, but as I stated earlier, I could see no reason for someone to type up what was posted just because they have an " axe to grind ".
Even if I emailed " legalhook@ntl " they';re not going to say yes or no are they?
