download speed

I have just upgraded from analouge to digi and my modem speed has droped
i am on 2meg and am only getting 412kb down has my account been cocked up. I have a surfboard4100 winxp home amd2500 512k ram 160gig hard drive i have just reinstalled winxp i have tried many speed tests and all say my speed is 412/512K.

Have you tried re-booting the modem? If so and the same problem continues give CS a call and ask them to check your account details for BB as it looks like something is wrong.

Have a look at the diagnostics as well.

Do this by pointing your browser to here

Have a look in there and post back the signal levels and also have a look at the logs page and post the config file as this will tell you which package your on.
