Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon

Hello

I just bought this game for £6. Is it any good?

Is it like the previous 2 in anyway?

Thanks for any feedback

I bought it 2nd hand for Xbox, I was instantly addicted, some of the puzzles are quite difficult to figure out, but it was worth the 2 weeks I invested in completing it.

Forgive me, but this seems like a bizarre enquiry - why not install the game, play it and see what you think?

For what it's worth, I don't think the game was very well received by critics and didn't get very good reviews. It was okay, just not good.

Re: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon

I only have the XBox version...It was ok but some of the puzzles followed too similar a direction.Namely along the lines of boxes.I also had a bug with the voice section at the final scene which was annoying.

However I'd say it was better than all the FPS and RGP's put together.Mainly because I can't play them.

If you like a purely puzzle game then try it.At that price what have you got to lose?

Oh and if you finished MI4 you are a better person than I.I never could get the hang of the monkey insult game and so never could complete it.. Why the fecking hell Lucas Arts had to put an action scene in at the end of a puzzle game to complete it has completely p*ssed me off.Same with the last Simon the Sorceror game which was all action and buggy as hell.

If this is your taste "The Watchmaker" and "The Case of the Silver Earring" are in a similar vein and should be on the bargain shelves. There does seem to be a shortage of this type of game these days!

Re: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon

Broken Sword 4 - has been announced also! Out next year i believe, should be good! As for Broken Sword 3 - i thought it was a good game, good to see the adventure games being continued - as the classic lucasarts adventure games are some of the best games I've ever played, i think grim fandango had to be my favourite!

Also Fahrenheit is due out on the 9th of September, more of a thriller adventure but looks set to be good, gives you a lot more choice and every decision has an effect, which gives the game a new dimension in some ways!
