Re: B.T Line what broadband

www.ADSLguide.org have a great search for providers where you can see exactly what is on offer.

For a home user I'd say Plusnet. Theyâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢re doing a 2Mbit connection for £14.99 a month with a £10 connection fee.

Not too sure about Business, if he really needs a business line then ADSLguide is the place to go

Yeah, like Shaun says, ADSLGuide are a good source, and you cna also check http://ispreview.co.uk/ too, although not sure if they have much on the best for businesses.

Otherwise, if a Mod moves this to the Other ISPs area, I expect someone will offer some suggestions of who to choose/avoid.

Re: B.T Line what broadband

Our firm has used clara.net for a number of years. Stable reliable connection. They also provide our web hosting and domain registrations. Not the cheapest though.

Watch out for their accounts department. They could give ntl some serious competition for wrong invoices and direct debits.

In fact dependent on needs, and amount of hassle wanted you might want to have an ISP for internet access, but separately host the web presence including shop. There's lots of hosts our there, costs though are usually dependent on expected bandwidth.
