sky+ recording problem
Hope some one can help. When I try to record through sky+ and try to watch another channel the message 'no satellite signal being recieved' comes up. I can watch the channnel being recorded but no other take the recording out of the planner and all channels are available again. I have tried downloading updates and have done a full reset but to no avail. Any ideas?

Hi and  to Cableforum.
Go to services and do a signal test in sytem setup to see if both streams are locked.

Check that the connections are tight at the back of the box. You are only picking up one stream.

Both connections are in tight,though the plastic sheath is damaged on one of the input cables

Try a reboot of the digibox for starters to see if you then get both streams locked. If this doesn't work turn the box off, unscrew both connections and swap them over then restart the box and check to see if both are now locked.
