Been looking around and the concensus on a number of newsgroups is that it can't be done. Just wondering if you can get a thrid party addon to do the same thing??
Without checking, because I don't have access to Outlook at the mo, I would expect there to be option to lock and dock toolbars, and so on. Would be surprised if not, but hey - tis Microsoft and they know what we should be doing.

Re: Outlook Toolbar Position
The toolbars in Outlook can't be locked. This is due to thehuge differences in what is displayed with each of the Outlook functions.
If you do not need/want all of the toolbars open you can close them, simply right click on any toolbar and then remove the tick against the one that you want to close. Replacing it is the reverse of this procedure.
