The one built in to WindowsXP? It works for me! Iirc there's a wizard to set it up

Zetafax was good a few years ago, Winfax was another.

It depends on what you are trying to do. After all there is a simple one as part of M$ Windoze XP.

I'll second that (win fax) once it's set up all you need to so in "print to fax" instead of the printer then the wizard takes you through the rest.

Not forgetting to plug the phone line in, (my usual trick)
