DI4000T support

I'm looking for some remote control codes (CCF files or discreet codes) for a Pace DI4000T.

I'm running Total IrRemote (Psiloc) on a Nokia 6600, but the codes should be generic to most OFA devices.

If anyone has some working codes could they please post a URL. I've tried RemoteCentral, but they don't seem to be working on any OFAs that I've tried.

Thanks

I presume you are trying to use your mobile phone as a remote controller for the STB relying on the phone's inbuilt IR transmitter.

Unfortunately whilst that may be possible for many controllers, a number of the PACE STBs use IRDA rather than the more standard IR for signalling. Not sure what form the DI4000T takes, but if it is IRDA, and your phone cannot do that, this could be why codes cannot be found.

Ah, according to this http://www.redremote.co.uk/faqs.html the 4000T boxes are compatible with both IRDA and RC5 (standard IR) signalling.

Re: DI4000T support

MGP, I wish it was that simple mate.
The 6600 has IRDA. It was one of the 'simple to overlook' categories somewhere here in cyberspace.

I thought I'd try tracking down the source of the problem by using the CCFs on multiple OFAs. They didn't work either. I tried it with other DI4000Ts, alas no joy.

It seems so many people have had problems with OFAs and Telewest that it may be worthwhile saying hang the sense of it and going with Sky (shudder).

To date TW tech support gave the following responses:
1. WTF?
2. Eh?
3. Erm... Not sure if that's possible.
4. You'll have to contact Pace, Good Luck!

I'm beginning to wonder if it's even possible??
