Horrible!

BBC News

Quote:
An RSPCA inspector has described the "stench of death" in a County Durham stables where at least 38 animals and birds died.

An investigation is continuing to establish how the animals came to be locked in Bank Top stables in Trimdon.

The death toll included 16 horses, 11 birds, six dogs and a rabbit.
I've just seen the report on the ITV News as well - apparently 3 dogs survived by eating the remains of the other animals - some were so badly decomposed there were just bones left!

I hope they find out who is responsible, who on earth would go and leave animals just locked away in a stable?

Just up the road from me, and in a place our dear old prime minister visits often.

Its really sad that people can treat animals this way, I hope he is treat the same in prison.

Sick. I hate the thought of anything (or anyone) dying in conditions like this.
