E4 what's up
Just put E4 on (144) it was showing front row trailers then the movie Bridget Jones, then it froze, now i've got a blank screen and a few pops and crackles, got the BB dog top right. anyone else having trouble?

It's on our system at work that some areas in the north west are experiencing degraded pics on e4, e4+1, ITV1,2,3 it was logged yesterday, i believe the fix is early next week.

I get it mostly on the live streaming, not noticed it on itvs channels.

I've just tried it here and that fat barsteward Johnny Vegas is on... so I can safely say ours is working here in Rochdale, may be more just your area?

Indeed! 
The kids were watching something on Living TV anyway (Charmed I think it was), so it didnt matter too much. I just flicked to the channel to see if it was working or not.
Roy MM: Not too far away, but far enough to have different issues.

it appears to be a random fault, to see if a person is affected by an area fault we search via their franchise number but this fault just says "all" under a north west search, rather than a specific area.

Just had a thought (uh-oh!)... isn't E4 one of those channels people are asked to check if they potentially have a weak signal?
As you're getting the BB dog in the top corner, it could be a weak signal as you're getting some of the information sent.
Have you tried holding the down button while rebooting the box (was reading the STB information sticky and it mentioned this can help pick up weaker signals apparently) and see if you have a loose connection at the back of the STB.
Although, if ntl's system states its a random issue for all of the NW, I could be miles away with my thought.

channel in my area seems ok but did freeze for split second moment ago checked power levels all seem ok at mo ?
