Luanching dos prog from batch file

Hi All

I want to run a dos exe program from the command line, I was going to write a batch file, but everytime I do this the window just exits again... wondering what the ocmmand is to make the cmd window to be persistent instead of allways closing?

Does this make sense?

Many thanks
in advance
Andy

Re: Luanching dos prog from batch file

i cant answer your question specifically, but if you just want to look at the output then pipe it to a text file, e.g.:

program >> output.txt

(> overwrites, >> appends)

Here's a suggestion...

after you've finished doing whatever you want to do, just put the command pause. It'll then prompt you to press any key to continue.

Re: Luanching dos prog from batch file

...or create a shortcut to the program/batch file, and you can tell it not to close in properties.
