Using Photo Gallery in MS FrontPage

I'm using Microsoft FrontPage version 2002.

I create a new page and insert a Photo Gallery. When I try to save the new page it gives me a message as follows:

To save this page and photo gallery, open a FrontPage based web site, and save the page to that site.

But I want to save the page locally on my C drive. How can I do that? I've done a google and its no help.

Re: Using Photo Gallery in MS FrontPage

I suspect the reason that it is asking for a site is because it's trying to create a dynamic site rather than static pages. Probably you will have to set a new site in Personal Web Server (I think windows come with this?) on your machine and save to that.

Re: Using Photo Gallery in MS FrontPage

Create a folder on your HDD. Then you press Save As, direct it to this folder and press Save. You can then return and amend the page or publish to a web server providing it has Front Page extensions loaded.
