RGB out on both SCARTs?

Do any of the ntl: STBs do RGB on the video SCART, or is it just the TV out like on my old Pace one?

Wonder if they'll consider it when the next generation of boxes come out? With so many DVD recorders and HDD recorders around now, it would be useful. But then again hopefully any new boxes will incorporate a HDD recorder along with several tuners anyway!!

we have a dvd recorder and it just goes on the first scart and uses a loop through

but yeah, they will one day get around to giving us multi tuner hard disc recorders... after playing with one a lot recently, they really are the fleas teats

Re: RGB out on both SCARTs?

I think I'll have to buy a SCART splitter and run the RGB out from the STB through it to my TV and DVD recorder. Was hoping the newer boxes weren't damaged this way as I'm nagging tech support to replace my slightly iffy box at the moment.

Any ideas for a good quality splitter that won't degrade the quality noticeably?

The following Scart splitter is recommended by many and has the ability to switch RGB on and off:

why woudl you need to do that? the dvd recorder will just pass the signal through to your TV, in RGB

Re: RGB out on both SCARTs?

Yes but then I'm at the mercy of the DVD recorder for passthrough, and mine is a bit kranky about it. Just easier to split the SCART and save the 2nd SCART for audio output to my AV amp instead.
