#274# - Blocking Withheld Numbers (NTL)

I have randomly (not regularly) 'lurked' on this board for a while but this is my first post so forgive me if this topic has been discussed previously, but as far as I recall, I have not seen it.

I have been on the receiving end of 'malicious' silent calls (differ from dropped sales calls) from a withheld number for a while. I contacted NTL and they set me up on this feature that blocks all withheld numbers.............................except it doesn't.

Seemingly if you ring twice in quick succession you get through the second time round.

Has anyone else been down this avenue before with similar results?

I think that was the code I used to be honest, but I foolishly did not keep a record of it.

Either way, it is activated generally but its when this quick fire 2 ring takes place that they get through - I have tested it using mine and wifeys mobiles.

Also apologies for starting a new thread on this subject already being discussed on here - my bad.
