Seriously, I don't know why you've not had your upgrade through, it needs someone with systems access to check it's been done correctly.

cool, and could you tell them for fairness to be less polite as well? only kidding, she was a nice lady that I spoke to, and she said that it would be done asap, but that never happened.
anyway, have a nice night I am off to bed, cause it is freezing here, and I am tired.

Looking at his previous posts they aren't generally too nice either frankly.

According to CS we get this error message because the system is busy, but I dont think they guy knew what he was talking about. I guess the CM MAC address is not configured correctly against our accounts, so when it does a lookup it fails.. Would be nice if somebody working for CS would be able to check this.

I have always paid £19.99 for the 600k/750k service as I was one of the people who decided to buy the cable modem rather than rent it when that option was available years ago.
Im not sure whether I should sit back and wait for the upgrade or risk it and upgrade online, and hope Ntl don't screw things up and bill me £24.99 a month.
Also what would happen to my pricing plan if I upgraded to the 3meg service? would they charge me full price and send me a new modem or would i get it at a £5 discount ?

Considering I have gone through 3 tier changes in 30 mins I shudder to think what my bill is going to be like. Hopefully I ended up on the same price as I started so bit of luck, it will ignore the other 2 (or at least overridden them). NTL aren't renouned for their billing skills, even when tiers don't change. Still, think positive thoughts!

See, I'm one of the people who could possibly have helped you tomorrow. However, I certainly won't now, and I very much doubt anyone else will from here.
You'll have to ring ntl, but if you speak to the staff like you've spoken to members here, they won't help you either.

If all the tier changes were on the same day then only the first and last will affect the billing.
