I think Timetravel works under the alternate reality principle. All timelines exist simultaniously but changes made in the current timeline cause the current reality to Merge with an existing realities timeline, or something like that .

yeah it's ok....tho i don't like the Taylor characters...last night's episode exampled that ...she's just crap!... actress and character....
For example...everyone has a place in world of TV series...even during the different series of StarTrek...we always had the same type of charcters...
but she doesn't fit into any of these cats?...not even as John Sheppard's love interest as that I persume is Ellie Weir...
Speaking of her...did anyone notice her major makeover halfway through last night's episode (The Gift)?....just before the doc gave her some bad news... she had a ton of eyeliner on...looked like she was about to go out on the lash..not fight a bunch Wraith!

In the end of the last series, is it a different actress playing her? Just she was blonde, i wasnt convinced if she was different or not.

Re: Stargate: SG-1, don't miss it!
She's not changed...has she? I'm pretty sure she hasn't from the episodes I've seen upto on Sky1..?
I think she's a good mission leader...points for being a lass, points for being strong, points for dropping her morals, and points for showing her vulnerabilities and innerself!.... common she even saved them all by going in and out of stasis for 5,000 years!

Shes been the same since the start of Atlantis, however, she was played by a different actress at the end of series 7 of SG-1.
And thats 10,000 years in stasis

lol, so true. He does seem to have a swolen ego, evidence can be seen by the fact that his name appears before the title of the show and in bigger lettering in the beggining credits

Re: Stargate: SG-1, don't miss it!
The letters episode was a farce, especially Rodneys.
We never saw any outcome of them being sent either.

Well, it is his production company ... IIRC the principal reason there was ever a series made out of the film is that RDA was looking for a new vehicle post-Macgyver.
