A Question.......
On my website which I use for work purposes, I have a hit counter.
I have just checked it, something I usually do about once a fortnight, but to my dismay someone has linked to my website from a porn website which includes a porno type blog, I didn't realise until I clicked the link, anyway, in the blog a lot of people have replied in the blog about links to their site also, my question is, How do they do it ? anyone any ideas ? Could I block it or should I just ignore it
Hope the above makes sense.

Re: A Question.......
Any chance of a link? Might help us to see how it was done.

sorry to imply you would use NTL for business use, but you never know
- so it is down to how much access you have to managing the site via the control panel - is it i-web? - they have tools for hot link protection & IP block, for example

No it is easyspace.com, I can't see any IP block within my control panel though

I just had a look & couldn't either, it looks like you will have to raise a support ticket.
i-webs control panel is more comprehensive, easyspace looks like they keep things 'easy' by not allowing access to the 'twiddly bits' - thats not to knock it, it, though, that approach is often all people want.
sorry I couldn't help you out any further, mate

Thanks anyway Gaz.
A thought occured to me, is it possible that everyone who is complaining about the link might all be from the same Hit Counter provider ?
