Downstream light flashing

I've got my CM connected to a wireless belkin router. When i switch off my pc, the DS light is still flashing away on the CM as if it's doing something.....but what ? The security on the router is very tight so i dont think anybody is accessing but I don't know what its doing. Any help appreciated

Re: Downstream light flashing

having the d/s light flashing is perfectly normally... even if you unplug your router from the modem d/s will still flash.... nothing to worry about
